Soho’s most stylish members' club, Kingly Club, has a history seeped in glamour and scandal. It stands on the site of the now infamous Pinstripe Club, a notorious 1960s London hotspot for the rich and famous.
Some of the silver screen's greatest partied at the former club; Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Peter O’Toole, Oliver Reed, Steve McQueen and Audrey Hepburn. They all enjoyed its style and mystique in the heart of London’s Soho.
The Pinstripe club finally closed its doors after, then government minister, John Profumo, met Christine Keeler and began an affair that ended his career and nearly brought down a government. Whilst there have been no scandals at today’s Kingly club, it holds on to its privileged status as one of London’s most exclusive venues.
