We realise we’re in a recession and all, but isn’t this a little bit drastic? According to reports, a lady in China has scaled the 70ft wall of a castle just to dodge the admission fee – the equivalent of £2.50
Tourists and visitors to the castle were stunned when they saw Nimble Ma Jei running up the wall without any safety rope or equipment to support her.
According to onlookers, Ms Jei then reassured them it was not the first time she had attempted the feat, having climbed the wall since childhood to avoid the admission fee, which she has yet to pay.
In a further bizarre set of circumstances, some crazy tourists attempted to copy the Spider-Woman’s antics only to end up seriously injuring themselves.
Bizarre, huh?
However, Ms Jei isn’t the only climbing-crazy nut-job out there. No, the true crown for the craziest climber undoubtedly goes to French skyscraper climber and extreme sportsman Alain Robert. Robert is well known for scaling some of the world’s biggest buildings without any safety equipment and recently completed the domination of the tallest skyscraper in the world, Burj Khalifa, earlier this year. Check out some of Robert’s death-defying endeavors in the video above.
