Lindsay Lohan had written the phrase "F**k U" on her middle fingernail during her court hearing yesterday.

The famously rebellious star was given a ninety day prison sentence for violating the terms of her probation by missing compulsory alcohol education classes. Lindsay had the words penned in the centre of her middle fingernail on her left hand.

A reporter who covered the hearing suggested that Lindsay may have written the explicit words during the probation hearing at the Beverly Hills Courthouse; "She did spend a lot of time writing/doodling/otherwise fiddling with a pen. I wouldn't be too surprised if she added that to her manicure during the hearing... It did seem at times like her lawyer might be intentionally positioning herself between Lohan and the cameras"

As is very clear in this photograph taken yesterday 06/07/10 at the court hearing, Lindsay Lohan was very upset and broke down in tears when the hearing was read.

We wonder what Danny Cipriani will think of Lindsay's 3 month sentence as they have been spotted together in LA a couple of times and are apparently smitten with each other. But romance is obviously the last thing on her mind in this shot.
