Cheryl Cole has finally filed for divorce from her ‘estranged' husband Ashley Cole.

To celebrate her decision and to announce her single status with a bang, she has allegedly organised a divorce party on the same night that the England team play their first World Cup match.

The party is reported to be held in an exclusive London venue this coming Wednesday , the same evening that England are taking on the USA. Cheryl is apparently very keen to have the divorce settled, so that she can get on with her new life without Ashley.

There is a no television policy at the event as a source of the Sunday Mirror reports; "she has no interest in watching England's World Cup matches because of Ashley's involvement so she thought the perfect time for a mini-celebration would be during the USA game."

Cheryl is performing at Capital FM's Summertime Ball this afternoon and it has been reported that Justin Bieber would love to work with her in the future. After the bash this week Cheryl is expected to fly to LA to begin recording her new solo material, we wonder if she will be meeting up with fellow ‘Girls Aloud' band mate; Nadine Coyle?
