• Cheryl's celebratory Divorce Bash

Cheryl Cole was grabbed by a fan when returning to her Birmingham hotel after The X Factor auditions. An overzealous women grabbed Cheryl's arm and refused to let go until Cheryl signed the fan's CD.

The incident apparently happened whilst the star was trapped in a throng of Paparazzi. The singer looked was visibly distressed and called on her security to intercept the woman and escort her safely to the hotel.

Cheryl lost one of her favourite rings when she was grabbed, two of her team later returned to the incident spot to try and find the piece of jewellery, with no luck and the ring is still missing.

The 26-year-old singer was staying at Birmingham's Hotel Du Vin following a day of filming for The X Factor. She had been judging hopefuls at the LG Arena with Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and guest judge Natalie Imbruglia.
